The Sangiovese grosso variety which, in its pure form is Brunello di Montalcino, Riserva Brunello di Montalcino (produced only for the best vintages), Rosso di Montalcino.

This grape cultivar is the prevalent variety in the two Rosso Toscana IGT wines “Gaius” and “Ciartio Aurum”. Sangiovese is blended with two French varieties (Merlot and Cabernet Franc) in the former and with typical Tuscan varieties (Colorino and Canaiolo) in the latter.

Produced only for exceptional vintages, the Riserva is the result of a careful selection of the best grapes in the Brunello vineyards.

Intense ruby red with garnet hues. On the palate, robust but accessible structure, opening to tertiary notes. The bouquet is rich with elegant tertiary aromas such as plum jam and maraschino cherry. Suitable for ageing and must be stored in a cool place at a stable temperature. It pairs well with red meat, game, and aged cheese.

Serve at room temperature 20° - 21° C. We highly recommend decanting this wine.

Aged according to tradition in Slavonian oak barrels (average size 30hl) for thirty months and further four months in the bottle. Elegant and austere, it best expresses the potential of pure Sangiovese from the vineyards in the territory of Montalcino.

Bright and clear, garnet red. Intense and lingering aroma. On the palate, the wine is elegant and harmonious; dry with persistent aromatic length.

Pairs well with red meats, game, and aged cheese. Store in cellar at stable temperature (20° - 21°C). We highly recommend decanting this wine.

Pure Sangiovese that unites the superb structure of Brunello with the freshness and liveliness of a young wine: harmonious, elegant, savoury, and easy to pair.

Ruby red in colour, nose reveals good intensity. On the palate, it is dry, has backbone and good aromatic length. Suitable to drink young or aged after some years in the bottle: fruity when young, features spicy notes after aging.

Pairs well with pasta with tomato sauce, risotto, poultry, pork, and veal. Serve at 19° - 20°C.

Tradition and freshness characterize this wine in its choice of varieties that are closely connected to the territory of Montalcino: Sangiovese from the youngest vines on the estate is blended with Colorino, a traditional Tuscan variety, which gives the wine its colour, freshness, and fruity aromas.

Extremely balanced, it is intense ruby red, of good structure and features delicate hints of red fruits on the nose.

Aged up to eight months in steel vats, it is very suitable as an everyday wine because of its freshness, aromas, and taste, maintaining the legacy of great Montalcino wines.

n this blend, Sangiovese is united with two French varieties: Merlot and Cabernet Franc. While the former brings structure and length, the two international varieties delicately enrich the wine in aromas and softness. This is how a fresh and elegant wine is born, one that is suitable to drink immediately or to age in the bottle at home.

Aged for one year in 15hl French Allier barriques and in Slavonian oak barrels, it appears deep ruby red with bright purplish highlights. On the nose, intense with hints of red-fleshed fruit and pleasant spicy notes. On the palate, enveloping and structured, balanced by perfect freshness and velvety tannins.
